Federal Officers Association Asked Public To ‘Reserve Judgment’ On Secret Service

Federal Officers Association Asked Public To ‘Reserve Judgment’ On Secret Service Prostitution Allegations
http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entries/federal-officers-association-asked-public-to-reserve-judgment

Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association National President Jon Adler sent this statement to TPM about the unfolding scandal involving 12 members of the U.S. Secret Service:

While I’m disheartened to learn of (journalist Robert) Kessler’s need to fuel an indictment by rumor, I respect our due process and trust the Secret Service to investigate this matter. I stand by the brave men and women of the Secret Service, and ask that everyone reserve judgment until the matter is properly reviewed. It would be both reckless and premature to jump to judgment that either the President’s safety or his mission in Colombia were jeopardized by the allegations in question.

Kessler didn’t immediately respond to TPM’s request for comment.

they weren't on duty at the time, it's their business, not mine.

be on duty at all times. At all times. Sorry but that's just me. They flew over there at our expense, we should not be not paying for a vacation for them just because they are "off duty". IMO Obama is always in jeopardy, and in another country I would think even more so and they need to act like it.

So it doesnt seem like he was ever in danger. And it seems like its being dealt with in an appropriate manner.

detail and as such IMO they had no business putting themselves in that position. Yes it does sound like it is being dealt with in an appropriate manner.

It would save the Secret Service embarrassments like this. Women are much less likely to purchase people to service them sexually.
