4. I was getting the hundred dollar bills from a Wells Fargo Bank!

I suffered identity theft. Then, I was forced to draw all my money out of the bank - in cash - to pay my bills. Each time I withdrew money, Wells Fargo Bank gave me three odd looking hundred dollar bills. When I held them up to the light, the nearly invisible faces on the right part of the bill were radically different. When I cashed the $100. bills at a certain store - where cigarettes were cheap - I noticed the clerk was working from two different cash registers. When I held these twenties up to the light, the hidden faces were even more out of register. I told the FBI agent that I thought that I was being used to transport counterfeit money over state lines, since my bank was in Alabama, while I was living in Mississippi.

If you have bogus notes, call the local police or the Secret Service.
http://www.secretservice.gov/know_your_money.shtml

Note that if you surrender a counterfeit bill, you don't get a real one in return. That's why banks always make sure that any counterfeit bill a teller takes somehow always ends up in some customer's night deposit.

The Secret Service, like the Coast Guard, was part of the Treasury Department. When founded in 1865, the job was to fight counterfeiting. Later on, duties expanded to fighting fraud against the government, the KKK and, in 1901, protecting the president.

Now, they're DHS, but the job is the same. Give them a call.

I know the only job of the Secret Service is to protect The Commander in Chief. There are no Secret Service offices in the Southeastern or Eastern regions of the USA. I AM GOING TO A PRINTER AND HAVE THEM PRINT OUT 1,000 COPIES OF THIS COMPLAINT TOMORROW ONLINE NSA IDIOTS AND LEAVE THEM EVERYWHERE! Check my record for "Love Letters to Kelly." I'm not bluffing NSA and FBI online idiots!

Also, the service was originally founded to stop counterfeiting; the Presidential security detail only came 50 years later.

I made an insensitive remark, and it was uncalled for.

I apologize for that.

I work in a small shop, she said she has never got a bad bill before.

I did check when I had part time job at bank though.

when I worked in cashiering at AAA in CA they had us check all big bills.

So I am thinking bigger places in bigger cities check more...makes sense.

than they've ever been?

It IS the job of the Secret Service to guard the country's money supply against counterfeiting. It's why the Secret Service was created.
