i don't think state employees should be allowed to discriminate.

If by choice you can't perform all the responsibilities fairly and without prejudice to all persons entitled to performance of duties by the magistrate...the magistrate should resign and hand the job over to someone who can and will.

They're public servants, gays are members of the public, and same-sex marriage is now a legal public service. You don't get to pick and choose what legally assigned duties you perform for ANY reason. Do them all or lose your job.
