EMORY HOSPITAL in ATLANTA, NEBRASKA MEDICAL CENTER HAVE BIO LEVEL 4 UNITS

They have world class facilities and personnel for treatment of diseases like Ebola. They have the best training in the world for containment of highly infectious disease.

The only other two hospitals equipped to handle ebola are St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula, Montana, and the National Institutes of Health in Maryland.

So, yeah, when the nurses' union complains that the most nurses across the country are not adequately prepared to handle ebola, PLEASE DON'T COMPARE THEM TO THE NURSES IN THOSE FOUR HOSPITALS.

But...nobody got ebola at Emory?

Well, shit....I wonder why?

But we could be doing a damn bit better.

[My feelings for all those working on the front lines with Ebola patients anywhere in the world. God bless 'em.]

How easy do you think it is to build a biosafety level 4 containment unit?
