Clearly not these dumbass Third Way, New Democrat, Blue Dog boneheads. They never learn.

It is disgraceful in a nation where over 90% of Americans wanted some serious gun control measures after the tragedy that was Sandy Hook, and our representatives didn't deliver. There is something seriously wrong with that.

No pity for the gutless weasels who sucked up to the NRA.

Were I in office, I'd not support knee-jerk hasty legislation if it didn't address underlying problems.

And if I fought a piece of gun control legislation, I wouldn't expect any favors from the NRA.

They thought the NRA would have their back, and like the soulless villains that runs that organization, they left these Judases high and dry. Surprise? No.

Tom Selleck, rightly or wrongly, lends the NRA a veneer of credibility that they would never get with nutjobs like Ted Nugent.

It's somewhat analogous to this Rick Snyder - Scott Walker comparison.

It takes cash and those with it can't be expected to just give it away like...like...a socialist.

Thank you for the heads-up on some cosmic justice, MinM.

The NRA is going to back whomever has the strongest RKBA credentials.

BTW, I doubt these guys voted the way they did to court the NRA. Neither Alaska nor Arkansas are gun control states and had they voted otherwise, they could have kissed their seats goodbye, the NRA notwithstanding.
