Obama lost the white male vote after the Henry Louis Gates

arrest incident http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Louis_Gates_arrest_controversy

Bill Maher did a new rule rant about pandering to the white vote. Got me thinking? What euphemism for "don't be sensitive about white people being racist" can we use to change the hearts of white republicans who live in a world where they do not wrong? Maybe something aspirational?

Obama uses "we're all in this together". He used "hope and change".

are not racist. Actually if Obama himself said some of the exact same things Maher said, to the public, in a tongue in cheek way, that might be very effective.

and 2012. i think the white female vote was closer in 2008 because a lot of women were turned off by palin. but many went to romney in 2012.

although if you go by individual state i think around the northwest and east coast states he did win in those states. but those places are already mostly heavily democratic such as vermont.
