When did the U.S. Post Office start special deliveries on a Sunday?

I've seen them come by on Sunday a couple of times already.

4. I know, one minute they talk about getting rid of Saturday deliveries,

and the next minute I'm getting Amazon packages on Sundays!

6. fairly recently

It is a contract with Amazon. My neighbor did it for awhile. Maybe also some other companies. Boxes. No regular mail.
