I would argue that The Examiner is barely "Mainstream Media" much less "EVERY Media Outlet"

Go back to 2006, and the same MSM outlets were talking about the Democratic wave at this point before the election. Media focuses on the horserace aspects because their audience isn't interested in the policy issues.
