they are really just over the top pretentious. You need a special exclusive gift to give a partner a car??

I don;t mind commercials for luxury gifts, mind you-- it's just these commercials are really arrogant. A crystal music box and a family leading a mom out to a car sitting in front of a three car garage???

A special guitar hero game playing the lexus theme song?

It's almost a F*ck you to those that are going without this year. I can't stand them. They really rub me the wrong way.

but I am not the target audience. I guess they don't have to pay a creative department much to run the same ad every year.

Big purchases like that should be family decisions.
