Experts: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie May Have Already SNUFFED OUT Presidential Chances:

New Jersey’s biggest bully has dug his own political grave with his latest display of tough-guy tactics, according to political experts.

Gov. Chris Christie’s penchant for channeling Tony Soprano may have snuffed out his presidential chances. New Jersey’s biggest bully has dug his own political grave with his latest display of tough-guy tactics, according to political experts. “This has always been the fatal flaw of Chris Christie’s presidential campaign,” Democratic strategist David Axelrod said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” after watching a video of Christie blowing up at a heckler Wednesday. “I’ve been through a few presidential races, and I’ve got to tell you, every day is filled with aggravations and provocations, and if that’s the way he’s going to react, he has no future in this.” Added Axelrod: “I think he thinks that this kind of ‘Sopranos’ approach to politics marks him as a strong leader. I think it marks him as an angry man.” Christie’s thuggish style reared its ugly head at a press conference marking the second anniversary of Hurricane Sandy when he ripped into storm victim Jim Keady, 43. Questioned by Keady over the pace of repairs, Christie wasn’t having it. “Sit down and shut up!” he hollered. Christie’s televised outburst was the latest in a series of heated confrontations with voters. Experts say the former prosecutor’s pattern of using intimidation against those who question him might play well in some parts of New Jersey — but not so much elsewhere in the country.

Brigid Harrison, a political science professor at Montclair State University in New Jersey, said Christie’s style is decidedly un-presidential. “I find it hard to believe that this kind of behavior will generate votes and render him a viable presidential candidate in those key primary states that tend to have a more conservative political culture,” Harrison said. “I went back and looked at Presidents who have been heckled. Universally, the response is the same: It is dignified, it is measured.Manhattan psychotherapist Alan Bernstein said Christie-style behavior is typical in people who view even the slightest challenge as an existential threat. “When he’s responding like that, believe it or not, the experience he’s having is of saving his own life,” Bernstein said. “I cannot imagine a President with this style. I think it would be a disaster.” Bullies, said Lenox Hill Hospital clinical psychiatrist Alan Manevitz, are often “arrogant,” “narcissistic” and “rigid.” Psychologically, people who bully may have been bullied themselves; they may have quickness to anger; they may mistake others’ actions as hostile,” Manevitz added. The Christie camp did not respond to a request for comment. In an interview with the Daily News on Thursday, Keady said he wasn’t cowed by Christie’s chest-thumping antics.

Christie clearly has shown he is willing to violate the law and abuse his power many times.

What would stop Christie from jailing his opponents?

"Bravo to Mr. Keady! More people should be so brave to stand up to Christie and his corruption, misuse of tax payer's funds. Remember the town that received Christie Sandy money though they did not have any damage from the storm but supported him therefore got the money? How about the millions he spent to have himself and family in the TV commercials. There is so much and so deep, hard to keep track, can't wait until it's over. Again, bravo Mr. Keady!"
