When it comes to voting

My vote is cast in honor of Professor Jack Bricker. 
May he RIP. He died of cancer several years ago. He was a history and political science professor at a local community college and a former Ohio State Senator.
What he taught was one of the main reasons I became a Democrat! He truly knew his subjects and was always very supportive of his students.
He said he loved my Dad and said he was one of the hardest working and smartest men he'd ever met. My Dad worked for the DPW as head mechanic and Jack was on City Council.
Jack even helped me fill out my scholarship application and gave me a glowing recommendation to the college of my choice for my last two years.
I hope he's looking down on the proceedings today and is proud that I am going all BLUE.
