I'm not counting on it, but still.

I'll tell you one thing for free: ANY possible fraud that will help Mitchy stay in office can and will be perpetrated.

(6,699 posts)I want so badly to have faith in Kentucky, Georgia, Louisiana, Arkansas, North Carolina, Florida and all the other states that are not as important in control of the Senate this election. I really do want to have faith in my fellow countrymen and women, regardless of where they live in this country.
Here's hoping they do the right thing and vote THEIR BEST INTERESTS at the polls, and not those of the Koch bros. and the oligarchy that control this country today.

(234 posts)McTurtle loses, the Dems retain control, and the Repukes spend the next two years infighting. For a consolation prize, I'd accept that McTurtle loses and the Repukes barely take control but then can't agree on a majority leader. Cruz would think he should get it, McCain would think he should, and maybe it would even escalate into physical violence. Let them take each either out, all that vitriol and hatred can't sit still for long. And even if they do take control, there will be plenty of infighting anyway.
