Is the GOP Senate result legitimate?

Taking into account the number of voters prevented from voting in affected states due to Jim Crow 2, is the GOP Senate majority legitimate? Please do not speculate - specific information only.

1. Good luck with that

True or not. I doubt it will even be brought up expect on here. It is sad what happened but now the focus will go to how Republicans are going to run the Senate and the craziness of it.....BUT even before that, the ENTIRE news rooms will be focused on Louisiana and how crazy that is going to be down there.

2. I don't give a fuck what the media says or does not say.

The information exists, I want it, and we need it to know how to proceed.

If they obtained the Senate merely through their usual dirty tricks and the systemic corruptions they've created, then that at least represents a "legitimate" result in the broadest sense of the term.

If illegitimate, then the result is a partial coup d'etat.

3. It was brought up on the Obama Diary

because it is not consistent with the way voters cast votes on other issues on the same ballot. Really it doesn't make sense.

6. Funny how minimum wage increases win by landslides

and Republicans still get elected.

22. No , this is all just a dream.

In my state, Colorado, there was a personhood amendment on the ballot for like the 4th time in a row. It was soundly defeated 4 times in a row. Yet the bills most staunch supporter was elected to the Senate.

23. Don't get snippy when you're posting off-topic comments.

Either you have something to say about the subject of this discussion or not.

7. Perhaps, but there is a very simple and absolute way to know the answer.

Margin of Republican victory minus the number of people documented to have been blocked from registering, prevented from voting, or had their votes thrown out.

That information exists. We need it.

15. I don't know about that

Every Governor lost but Pennsylvania who had the President speak for them. I think there is something to the 6-year Presidency which is why I always thought a one term 6 year presidency would be better.

12. You have the numbers that show Republican margins exceeding voters blocked by Jim Crow 2?

18. No one is giving you any specific information at all. Really incredible display of

self indulgence. My sympathies, as your question is perfectly appropriate and always, ALWAYS, needs to be asked.

I do not have specific information, so would like to re-frame the question: can anyone point to any single race decided because of voter suppression\disenfranchisement efforts?

20. Thank you. As you say, ANY specific information on this question would be welcome.

If they have specific information about ANY race being decided because of vote suppression, that would contribute to the larger answer of whether Senate control was decided on that basis.

Some of these posts are so completely non-responsive, and act as if they didn't even read the two-sentence OP, I have to wonder if some of them are automated.
