The Republican Party has become toxic, and with this current crowd this decision would tend to be voter and donor driven, far more than conscience or long-abandoned principles and ideals.

If, on the other hand, their adherence to principle will seem to pay off, they'll probably stick it out to become the standard bearers of the new and improved GOP.
