Where has all the Ebola gone in the U.S.?

Where has all the Ebola gone?

Oh, right science got rid of it without any border closings, quarantine concentration camps, or mass die-offs in the population.

For those of you keeping score for the U.S. 2014 season:

Ebola - 1
Shootings involving more than 4 dead or wounded - 253
Traffic Fatalities - 26,000 (est)
Work fatalities due to accident/disease - 48,000 (est)
Cancer fatalities - 517,500 (est)
Fire fatalities - 1,952
Lightning fatalities - 25
Insect sting/bite deaths - 100 (est)
Dog bite deaths - 25
Bear attack deaths - 6
Autoerotic Asphyxiation deaths - 88 (est)

Ebola has had a truly disappointing season in the U.S. and really did not bring its "A" game. While it has racked up some impressive numbers in three countries in Africa, it has been completely crushed by perennial African champs Malaria and civil war.

1. I thought the end of election season eliminated Ebola.

2. But somehow, that vaccine

doesn't work on cancer.

Now there's a head-scratcher.

3. The one U.S Ebola fatality is now under review...

A challenge flag has been dropped claiming that the US fatality was actually due to a virus contracted in Africa, not from a Made-In-America Ebola virus.

/Pause/

The ruling on the field stands, the fatality will be counted as American because it happened on American soil, even though the virus was contracted in Africa.

Team Hemorrhagic Fever loses a timeout.

6. Also,

it served the purpose of the GOP Team, so penalty declined even if the refs had ruled the other way.

4. Tuesday, November 4th conquered Ebola in America

No need to talk about it anymore.

Fear it the tool used to win elections!

5. Oceans and visas.

In effect, this means that an ordinary West African would have to pay a year's income to get a visa.

Duncan appears to have been an upper-middle who saved up for a visa but couldn't resist acting as a health care worker.

MOST rich people in the three countries have isolated themselves from have-not's (or so they think).

At This Moment, the US situation appears to be "we'll treat a returning health care worker a week (given that the current prevalence of Ebola in the three countries appears to be 1 in 1000 in the three countries).

7. Once the election ended, Ebola went into remission.

The repubs and corporate media didn't need to pound the fear and stupidity any longer.
