but I live in a place where such snowfall events are normal.
Hope everyone manages to deal with this in a good way! When not prepared for that kind of accumulation, it can really be dangerous.

Not to this extent and my dog was smaller, but I can remember opening the door to take my dog out, only to find it blocked by a couple of feet of snow. And we had a porch! We already have snow here in New York.
