2008 was the last contested primary, and it was not a pretty sight here. Most of us survived, but I still hear echoes of those times in the "anti-Hillary" crowd, and the "Obama has betrayed us" bunch. Probably the ugliness of the discussions here bears some blame.

I hope we can all keep open minds and broad perspectives, keeping an eye on the actual records and policies of the individuals involved. Most of the time, your "gut" is the most easily manipulated thing, and the least reliable when it comes to decisions.
