After Immigration Speech REPUBLICANS ADMIT That Obama’s Got Them By THE BALLS

Behind the scenes, Republicans are not feeling too good about Obama’s executive action on immigration. They say they feel like Obama has them by the balls, according to MSNBC political correspondent Kasie Hunt.

Kasie Hunt @kasie

Behind-the-scenes GOP reaction from earlier at RGA: "The president's got us [holds up clenched, upturned hand] like this, and we know it."

8:35 PM - 20 Nov 2014

Let us detail why Republicans feel like President Obama has them by the balls.

First, what the President did was legal.

Second, what the President did has long precedent behind it.

Third, Republicans don’t care about facts or legality, so they planned on simply defunding Obama’s executive actions while still funding the government but they found out today that they can’t do that. It turns out they are not in charge of funding for immigration actions.

Fourth: Republicans have told everyone that Obama should be impeached for doing something legal. Some of them even said he should be in prison. So now they sort of have to do something or they look pretty weak. But they can’t really do anything and maintain a semblance of pretense about being a party that can govern.

But hey, they built this problem. Please proceed, Republicans.

because I honestly don't think they care about a pretense of being able to govern. I think they are now exclusively playing to their base (and their gerrymandered districts) who they've convinced that Obama is the reincarnation of Stalin and must be stopped at any cost.

But the Republicans are still gonna be a force to be reckoned with.

A moranic force, but dangerous nonetheless.

I’ve lost count, ummm, President Obama, 100, GOP, ummmm, O! The Democrats need to take a good hard look at what Obama just did! This is a man that knows how to win, and have the GOP gasping for air! This is how you kick GOP A$$! Had they embraced Obama during their campaign, we’d have won about 6 gubernatorial seats and picked up about 3 Senate seats. The GOP are about to regret their victory.

They can cry me a river and build me a bridge, they had more than enough time to do something and didn’t
Barack “Who told you I was gonna be a lame duck president” Obama – I like it…

Please proceed, Mr. President!

Do nothing and look stupid.
Do something and look dumber
Poor boehner

i hope the tbillys go nuts.
the real enemy of the usa is the gop/tp.

I love it when the president stomps on the republicans – again.

Chickens shit Democrats, please take notes. THIS is how you deal with Republicans.

Nice Obama nut cracker just in time for holidays.

And my own personal favorite from someone calling herself Cheryl: How sweet it is. How well are the GOP hung?

... how government works, and about the constitution and constitutional authority.

But the Republicans in Congress don't care about that shit. They don't care about governing. They don't care about Government with a capital G -- that is, the right of a free people to govern themselves for the good of all.

Conservatives in general -- and especially the Tea Party -- are all about Me, Me, ME!!

unless Democrats can get their sheet together and enthusiastically present a plan for the future.

The GOP owns AM radio and cable news that do nothing but spew right wing propaganda 24 hours a day.
Republicans don't have to do anything and all anyone will hear is how great the GOP is and how awful the Democrats are.
That's what's been happening the past few years and that's why they nearly own the government right now.

Democrats own no public media and very few media outlets even present their viewpoint. They can't compete with the earsplitting Republican ministry of truth megaphones.

They must vigorously, loudly and convincingly push positive ideas for the country or they will continue to live in the shadow of the right wing domination machine.
