Worst idea ever, anonymous juries. NYC_SKP Nov 2014 #1
There needs to be a two/thirds majority requirement to hide, IMO MohRokTah Nov 2014 #5

Nah. Just a lot of clueless people on the juries, who think it's OK to let almost anything stand. HERVEPA Nov 2014 #3

They allow really poor behavior, good posters can get creamed depending on who sits on the jury, it has driven away a lot of good people.

It's really a shame.

Drop it from 7 jurors to 6 and all ties let it stand.

A process for appeal wouldn't be too hard to enact.

A limit on the number of alerts that a member can make should be established.

In addition to blocking jurors, we should be able to block particular members from alerting.

It's just gotten silly, people baiting and alerting then "grave dancing" in the thread where a post is hidden.

It's bullshit, enabled by administrators who have abdicated responsibility for maintaining civility.

Still the best political site, but not as good as it was before juries, IMHO.

There are four (five?) posters who cannot allow themselves to see Putin's expansionism, cry foul when someone questions the accuracy of the Russian Times yet questions the accuracy of everything but the Russian Times.

Bless their little heart... pat them on the heads for bemusement, but don't feed them-- the dogmatic love attention.

And don't understand or refuse to recognize the troll issue.the troll issue.
The fact that this guy is still able to post is proof of that.
In my opinion he should have been banned long ago for his blatant trolling.

Not sure why that would be hidden. Stupidity alone is not a reason to hide. I would be in trouble if it were.
