After a massive storm dumped several feet of snow on the Buffalo area in western New York, officials now fear the next stage - floods and roof collapses.

Had to get out and shovel her roof in Batavia Thursday morning. Our dad's all did this in Western NY in older homes - when we were growing up.

Having Facebook private convo with people I grew up with - and we remember snow like this in 70's and 80's. I think with climate change and the Great Lakes staying warmer longer into the Fall - we are going to see more and more of this back home.
