CARTAGENA, COLOMBIA - The Daily News published the first photos of the Colombian call girl whose encounter with a cheapskate Secret Service agent set off the agency’s worst sex scandal.

Dania Suarez, the 24-year-old single mom of a 9-year-old son, has gone into hiding as the scandal mushrooms, according to neighbors.

Suarez, originally from the island of San Andres, is a quiet tenant who rents a small apartment in a hacienda-style home for about $600 a month, neighbors said.

“She never told us what she did for a living but it was obvious,” said Maria Quintero, 31, who lives on the first floor of the three story white building.

But “the man” who helps her find customers, didn’t find *these* customers.

Maybe the man is similar to a sports agent, or a booking agent… and they have a contract en force. Maybe he’s a corporate recruiter. Possibly he’s just a guy who helps her out once in a while… and as a result she feels beholden to him. Who knows. Maybe he doesn’t even exist.

There’s a slight possibility that if he does exist, he could be her pimp.

I forwarded this article to a Columbian friend, asking him what he thinks. He said that she’s lying about the $750-$800 dollars “agreed upon” fee, and was trying to extort the drunken fool in the morning after. That in Cartagena, a high priced and high-end professional *escort* can be had for $150... or less. And that $300-$400 dollars for an evening would be considered to be a huge ‘home-run’ for the working girl. A lot of money. He said that it’s a common ploy for the ‘workers’ to extort $$$ from la touristas.

Anyway, sometimes in the realm of international relations and international intercourse… situations can arise. Money, and some give and take, often engenders détente between the two parties… resulting in a satisfying result for all concerned.
