Thank you MIR Team volunteers for helping keep DU readable

and troll free.

This post is not due to any particular troll, but in anticipation of the Ferguson grand jury report and possible influx of MIs.

To all who volunteer your time and energies, thank you.

most members of MIRT are sincere and work very hard. I don't envy those who have had to deal with the midterms and now Ferguson.

I was originally sad when my MIRT time ran out, but with the Ferguson report coming out, I'm kinds glad I don't have to read the crap that trolls will post here.

MIRT ROCKS!!!

It was hard to process murdering that many little kids while dealing with the assholes who came to tell us more people are killed by hammers than guns. Breaks were needed as it was heartbreaking and difficult to maintain any sort of professionalism in the ban messages.

Serving on MIRT during that horrific event was very unsettling. I suspect we'll see something similar with the Ferguson GC decision regardless of the direction it takes.

Thanks for the props uppityperson.

I've served and know that it's a 24 hour a day job, especially during times of big news, like we're expecting today. Thank you for keeping DU a safe place for all of us. Keep up the great work, my friends!

90% of us will not know about the truly nasty stuff MIRT and the juries take down because the system works that well. I am happy I've MIRTed and I encourage everyone who can, to do it at least once.
