Watching CNN's coverage of the Macy's Parade...

...and they're broadcasting from the corner of W 72nd St and Central Park West. And all I can think of is what happened there almost 34 years ago, 12/8/80...

I'm watching the McDonald's Thanksgiving Parade in Chicago. So I can't watch Macy's anything since they took away my beloved 'Marshall Fields' of my youth. That still makes me sad in the holiday seasons.
