Happy Holiday everyone!!!

I used to post a bit then stopped for a while. Lately I've been lurking and reading news stories here and there. I find myself coming back more and more often lately especially to see what people are posting about the elections and Ferguson.

So on this holiday of thankfulness I wanted to let everyone on this list know that I really really really appreciate each and every one of you. I can always find interesting news stories and commentary from this group. You are smart and funny and there have been times where I actually needed the community here you all provide. Sometimes to figure out what is going on in the world, sometimes to find folks who share my feelings of incredulity over the stupidity of certain teabaggers, Kochheads, republicritters and morans. And sometimes to find real human friends who really care about one another (case in point the time my dog died). I just wanted to let you know that there are people out here who do care and share your opinions and in this day and age of propaganda and journalism for the highest bidder I think spaces like this are more important than ever.
