Great job DU ... edited to include link

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Aerows (a host of the General Discussion forum).

I got a post hidden because another poster attacked me! I alerted on her attack and heard nothing one way or another but she gets mine hidden. This place is really getting bad IMO

edit:
It's also important to know another person ask the same question and the poster left them alone, but came after me full force.

i couldn't agree with you more. the jury system is a complete joke... the only way to return this board to some semblance of normal is through true moderators. skinner must sit back and laugh all day at this shit... getting paid by people who sit around and use his site all day to fight, bicker, bitch, moan and be generally awful people.

Frankly the stuff I see as a juror that people want removed is often laughable. The jury system has become a tool for some to try and remove an opinion they don't agree with

I'm not saying that was the case with your posts since I didn't see them and wasn't on that jury

how many successful and failed alerts a person has every time an alert is issued. not calling them out by name but something like : "The alerter has had 426 alerts in the last 30 days and of those 7 have resulted in hides"

That might help if they could be blocked from alerting.

but, it just is a total crapshoot. every jury i have been on in the last couple of months has been a joke (the content that was alerted on, i mean). and some things that i was sure would be hidden get a pass. i have pretty much given up on alerting on anything...

Because clearly the content of the post that was hidden was objectionable.
