Do I believe the U.S. has, in the aggregate, done some good things? Yes but....

We have been responsible for horrific crimes against people around the world.

But conservatives love to think we are so "special" and that we can do no wrong. That is foolish and misplaced.

We need to begin to acknowledge our crimes and strive to do better.

I had many friends from outside the US when I was in college. It was an eye opener in so many ways.

I do think there are plenty of people who still believe the "they hate us for our freedom" crap. Maybe this report will make them think a little bit harder.
