The mother of Michael Brown could be charged with felony armed robbery for allegedly attacking people in a Ferguson, Mo., parking lot because they were selling T-shirts honoring the late teenager.

The Ferguson Police Department is currently investigating claims that Lesley McSpadden brought a group of people — including her own mother — to beat vendors and rob them of their “Justice for Mike Brown” merchandise Oct. 18, The Smoking Gun has learned.

One person was hospitalized in the reported attack and another unidentified alleged victim was reportedly beaten with a pipe.

McSpadden’s former mother-in-law, Pearlie Gordon, was among those beaten by “a large group of about 20-30 subjects” who had “jumped out of vehicles and rushed” the group of sellers, according to the police report.

...then the sellers who were exploiting a tragedy has some serious karma coming to them.

The mom broke the law, to be sure, but her outrage would be understandable.

I'd give her an afternoon in jail and a $5 fine and call it good.

But I'm sure you would be fine having YOUR mother hit with metal pipe for upsetting someone with a t-shirt.

Just a repost of an inflammatory story that was discussed here extensively a month ago.

What is Miles Archer's point here? Why this weird repost of an old, much discussed story now?

It seems a very bizarre post in a very bizarre repertoire of posts on Frrguson and Mike Brown by this poster.

One is left to wonder about the OP's intentions here.

Month old news story that went nowhere. No updates. Yet s repost. Why?

when it's useful or necessary for their vendettas, but if it's not in the best interest of their agenda, they don't bother. What a surprise.

It would surprise me if they filed charges. The whole mess would be a public relations nightmare all over again.

Chances are Mom and the mother-in-law of Dad, a woman who is NOT related to Michael, don't even really know each other well or aren't on good terms. So mother-in-law saw a way to make some money off of the tragedy and Mom took offense; didn't even know about it. Seeing that booth and that stuff blindsided her. I would have reacted strongly too. I'm not saying her actions were acceptable, but I can understand the emotions involved and why she tore that stuff down.

They didn't deserve to be hit with a pipe or have their merchandise stolen, but I can see the anger. Selling shirts like that is totally tacky and exploitative.
