"Rove Defends Rectal Feeding" ... says Bush was "briefed & intimately involved in" program decisions

"Git 'er done."

Karl Rove Says Bush Knew About CIA Interrogation Program, Defends Rectal Feeding
Posted: 12/14/2014 11:05 am EST Updated: 2 hours ago

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/12/14/karl-rove-torture_n_6322774.html

Karl Rove defended the CIA and former President George W. Bush on Sunday in the wake of the devastating Senate report on torture.

Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," Rove claimed the brutal forced rectal feedings -- which the report said were not medically necessary -- were used out of medical necessity.

The Senate report suggests that the CIA went to some pains to keep the program insulated from Bush -- an opinion shared by former agency General Counsel John Rizzo in his recent book. When the president was finally briefed on everything that happened under the program, the report said, he "expressed discomfort" at the image of a detainee chained to ceiling, clothed in a diaper, defecating on himself.

On Sunday, Rove said Bush was fully briefed on all of the CIA's tactics early on in the program in 2002, citing the former president's recent book.

"He was briefed and intimately involved in the decision," said Rove.

This was a guy who tortured frogs when he was a kid, as I've read. Threw them up in the air with firecrackers in their mouths to watch 'em blow up. And cackled like a hen at the whole hilariousness of it all. Many studies show that kids who mistreat animals or pets or other smaller life forms are likely to grow up to be demonstrably sadistic - abusers and batterers - with a very basic disrespect for life and for others. In his case, he got to sit at the top of the ziggurat and order it done to others. WITH HIS PROUD AND EAGER APPROVAL. Stood it on a Bible and dressed it up in red-white-and-blue while he was at it, to give it some goooooo-oooood ol' "all-American" "Christian" cover, too.

I get the feeling Rove is used to "rectal inserts" Wasn't there talk of him cruising the gay bars in DC, especially the biker, rough sex ones? The male prostitute Jeff Gannon could shed light on the whole WH gang, since he visited so many, many times. I wonder if Cheney and Rove got copies of the tortute techniques for their private collections? Scooter Libby should find his spine, come forward with what he knows. After all, he was thrown under the bus by the vile group during the Valerie Plame ordeal.

A Spanish Court were in the process of charging six of Bush's henchmen with War Crimes a few years ago. The judge was the same judge who went after Pinnochet.

People were hopeful that justice might finally be happening.

The court had jurisdiction so it looked good.

And then time went by and nothing happened.

It was disappointing.

We began to hear smears aimed at the judge.

Other than that, nothing.

And then Wikileaks released those cables.

And we found out why that case seemed to have gone away.

The Obama administration had placed pressure on the Spanish Court to stop the prosecutions.

Among the six were Gonzales and Yoo I believe, I can't remember all the others.

So, for now, that case is stalled. The US Government not only won't charge their own War Criminals, they go after any other country that tries to do it.

Glad you're here! I think we all would, my friend. And YES - WE can keep that alive by continuing to voice outrage about it. DO NOT let this momentum fizzle out!!! And if it does, it's OUR fault. If it does, that means we've allowed it, and we're okay with it, and it thus becomes US, then, too.

As my husband said this morning, unprompted, "America. We're not who we thought we were."

Many of those that the voters elected weren't in government 10-12 years ago. I'm not sticking up for them, but 2014 American voters can't be accused of endorsing what happened back then.

Besides, less than 20% of American "voters" (i.e., REGISTERED American voters) voted for republicans last month.

The important thing is to get DEMOCRATIC voters out to the polls.
