Some politician will figure out...

How to tap into the absolute hunger for a populist message. It may be from the left, it may be a phony message from the right, but huge portions of the country all across the country know they're getting screwed over and that the status quo is not sustainable. Dems need to wake up and embrace that populist message before some Teabagger taps into it successfully. We know that far right policies savage the middle and lower classes- the low information voters? Not so much.

Just more messaging and policies that help everyone, not just the 1%. Senators Warren and Sanders are a good start. But people all across the political spectrum know things are broken. We need politicians on the left who can articulate that and actually have a plan to help fix things. Teabaggers know it's broken, but are so invested in the "government evil" meme they don't want to fix things and don't think they could be fixed- at least not in any kind of collective or policy way.

One is right, the other is left, really not interested in moving forward, its my way or the highway.

For instance, the Tea Right supports new Jim Crow laws, and the Tea Left...?

"Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren objected to a GOP provision -- attached to a broad spending bill -- that rolled back a key portion of the Wall Street reform law."

Maybe you're letting the wrong people do your thinking. Seems you've got canned responses ready to open. Seems someone already framed the whole thing for you. So much so, when you respond to a direct question, you let an article you agree with do the talking rather than answer the question.

I can't think of a username more ironic than yours!

I think this country is ripe for the picking of a populist message. It's still a matter of who will do the pickin'.

People on both sides, I think, realize they are getting screwed. They just don't quite know who is screwing them.

Have a few posts on it - somewhere. The right wing knows a good opportunity when they see it. The Democrats...not so much. If they don't act fast, the right will co-opt the message and the Democrats will be in bigger trouble than they already are.
