No Fracking in NYS !!!

While I no longer claim NY state as my home, I've followed this issue for some time and in every state, not just New York.

Our use of natural gas is growing, resistance to regulation is strong and many pols are uncomfortably friendly with things as they are.

I wonder if the industry will be willing to clean up their act, disclose the ingredients of their fracking fluids, or otherwise try to be less vile.

I suspect that they'll just have to ratchet up exploitation in Colorado and New Mexico.

the industry and "land-owners" will be filing suits by tomorrow morning. Still, this is an important victory at this level.

I also had an encouraging phone call tonight, from my editor/lady friend. She's currently getting good results on a case where, for the first time, she's taking the lead.

I'm hoping that, within maybe 4-6 weeks, I'l be able to speak openly about it. I'm mighty proud of the work she is doing.

I tend to believe we will see the Hard science of the repercussions of fracking that is, and has been, occurring in states less fortunate in the not so distant future.
