is that the Bush regime was held above the law. Not even ordinary criminal activities were pursued because they might have led to wider prosecutions of the larger crimes of torture, murder, conspiracy, and treason.

they don't even pretend anymore. I have not heard a single call from one elected official to investigate the lies that led this country into war.
