You know something? *EVEN* before the nomination started, the expected price of $1b came first.

So it's basically whoever raises the most money gets the job.

Fuck that.

Keep money out of politics, and let them run on their issues. Not how much they can raise.

It's sickening and it needs to stop.

5. Allowing Unlimited Corporate and Dark Money is a New Interpretation of the 1st

The First Amendment was not generally considered to allow unllimited corporate contributions until the current Supreme Court said it did. They also enabled the tsunami of dark money, which can be from anywhere, even foreign governments can buy our politicians now and it's perfectly legal and we don't even get to know about it.

3. I'll do it for $0.5 billion.

They should just cut the crap and put it up for bids.

Stand em up on stage and let them submit their bids. The the corporations could take the lowest bidder that would promise to do what they want.

4. If someone is foolish enough to think Wall Street and corporations is not going to give a candidate

Campaign contributions and their desired candidate will accept the funding or they will not be elected. The 99% does not have the funds to support a candidate on the presidential level. Is it good, perhaps not but this is reality.
