Update at 3:47 p.m.: Weve just received a statement from Tim League, founder of the Alamo Drafthouse which, far as we know, is still the only local theater that has said it will screen The Interview beginning Christmas Day.

For once, it would be nice if people made a provocative film that justified the brouhaha.

(7,234 posts)I'm not going to see it for the same reason I don't see movies like Lone Survivor, Act or Valor, Zero Dark Thirty, I don't like pro-war/exceptionalism propaganda. I saw enough of it after 9/11 and during the Iraq war, I don't want to re-live those years ago.

Obama was right, again, that is what is missing in the whole discussion. And Sony is fixing it as requested.
