Funny, not one comment on FB about this thought....

How strangely different, well, not really, but George H.W. Bush says "I can't breathe" and they call an ambulance. Yet, a black man says
"I can't breathe" and the man dies.....Very strange...Am I being too harsh????

2. Much as I despise all things Bush and the cops who killed Eric

There's still a disconnect there. Not the same thing happening. A black man at home who can't breathe will surely get an ambulance - please tell me it's not that bad.

3. No, a black man at home who can't breathe does not always get an ambulance.

We had an episode here in Chapel Hill of an AA high school football player calling
911 after a practice--to his home--and he did NOT get taken to the hospital.
He later died.

I'll see if I can find a link to the story.

OK, it wasn't his ability to not breathe, but he complained of cramps over his whole body and requested
an IV for hydration.

5. And last week a white man died waiting on an ambulance...

Two hours after one was called. To the streets!
