60-year old Brent Douglas Cole has been identified as the suspect believed to be responsible for shooting a California Highway Patrol officer and a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) ranger over the weekend. Cole allegedly shot the police officer and the BLM ranger at the South Yuba River campground in Nevada County, California.
Cole identifies himself as a supporter of the sovereign citizens movement, a group that opposes taxes and believes that citizens are entitled to reject laws they disagree with.

At around 11:30am, the couple walked up to two police officers having lunch at a Las Vegas strip mall pizza buffet. One of them shouted "This is a revolution! as Jerad Miller walked past and shot one of the officers in the back of the head with a handgun. The officer died instantaneously. The other officer tried to return fire, but both Jerad and Amanda turned on him, shooting him several times and killing him.
The alleged killers liked Ron Paul, the FreedomWorks Tea Party, they listened to far right propagandist Alex Jones, and supported a third party candidate for Governor. They were deeply embedded in the far right, and their entire story needs to be told.

The media might forget but I won't. And the hypocrisy of it all? I have no problem pointing it out to anyone that is blaming the protesters in NY but never once blamed the protesters at the Bundy Ranch.
