Getting weird.
Now some are quibbling about where it was last seen or heard from.

It's almost 2015, and we are bombarded with news of our technological brilliance. Aviation is no exception to this bombardment, and while reports of technological brilliance are generally true, they fail to account for randomness and chaos.

(725 posts)2. I keep seeing
the news showing the map with the last place the plane was either in contact with ATC or on radar and it's over a land mass. Then they follow with saying it's "on the bottom of the sea". That seems peculiar. Why say that if it was last tracked over a land mass?
From what I've heard (after every plane crash), it's extremely rare for a plane to crash while in mid flight. Most crash on landing or take off.
