She died at the vet this morning, peacefully, and quickly.

I sure will miss her.

We made that awful trip just two weeks ago with our beloved 13 yo German Shepard Nakita. Her suffering is now over, but we miss her more than words can convey. I keep reminding myself that it's the hardest part of the contract we make with our furry friends when welcome them into our lives.
