If you listen to the right-wing, you would swear the constitution says Jesus died for our sins. They claim we are a Christian nation. Well, if we are a Christian nation, it should be clearly stated in the constitution that Jesus died for our sins. Obviously, it does not.
Considering we have consistently voted for the Christian party (conservatives) and lived under the influence of Christian politics, since Reagan, "How's that Christian nation workin' for ya?"

I thought Santa Claus died for our sins and was resurrected as the Easter Bunny.
Now I am seriously confoozled.

(40,416 posts)The DunningKruger effect is a cognitive bias wherein unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than is accurate. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their ineptitude. Conversely, highly skilled individuals tend to underestimate their relative competence, erroneously assuming that tasks which are easy for them are also easy for others.

(39 posts)I have always wondered why the Republicans call us a JUDEO-Christian nation.
First of all, that's not even in alphabetical order of supposed importance.
Secondly: The Jewish population makes up only about 3% of our population!
Not only that.. but according to right wing Christians..you have to believe in Jesus if
you want to get to heaven; and the Jewish people are still waiting for him.
(Well... excluding Moses and a few others who came BEFORE him).
Personally, I think that big brother Jesus came to show us...that we don't really die. Period.
The church..some churches have turned it into a thing of fear, for their own purposes.
