When did Free Republic turn into Stormfront?
They've always been vaguely racist in a coded way. You know, griping about "urban youth" and whatnot.
But in the last few weeks, they've been posting the kind of crap that used to only be seen on outright hate sites.

And their historical observations happen to be generally true, even though it completely denies the transformation of US political party dynamics of the last 50 years. We see this ALL. THE. TIME in online discussions about racial issues. RW blabbermouths seem to feel that because they've aligned themselves with the "party of Lincoln", emancipator of the slaves, they couldn't possibly be racists.
