(12,778 posts)The impression I got was that the people there didn't search for any one term more than any other state.
Or maybe they just don't use Google. Not sure.

(12,778 posts)I didn't really look into the methodology of their poll. The story was just something I found interesting.

(2,097 posts)<A compiled list of all search terms is listed below, and remember that these are NOT the top searches for each state, they are the searches each state made more of than any other state.>
So Delaware's searches just didn't stand out from the crowd, apparently.

(12,778 posts)OGA = Other Government Agency. I got the acronym from one of the Dexter books by Jeff Lindsay. One of the characters was Kyle Chutsky (probably not his real name), a black ops agent called to Miami to take out a former member of his team gone rogue. When asked whom he worked for, Chutsky replied "O.G.A." which was finally determined to be "Other Government Agency," a secret government department that is never explicitly named.

(46,436 posts)James Coburn at his absolute best. It's a very, very funny spy spoof from 1967. Somewhat dated now, I'm sure, but still a cult classic for us old hippies. Do check it out.

(46,436 posts)It was a long time ago and was directed at a niche audience. Actually, I think it was a bit of a commercial flop, but it was really funny to a lot of us subversive hippie types back then.

(45,319 posts)States. This explains why 'marijuana' is the entire Colorado list but 'marijuana' does not make the Oregon list although we legalized it on the ballot this year and clearly would have been searched more here than some of the items on the list, although Gabriel Garcia Marquez making the list is pretty spiffy, lord knows more people looked up marijuana than Marquez.
It makes sense that Oregon might have more 'Ukraine' searches than other States, we have more Russian speakers than other States but it would not make sense for that to be the number one term searched for in Oregon, just as it makes no sense that NY has nothing about the Mayor, the Police, or Eric Garner and that California's list does not have 'Sony' on it.
