2014 Was a Banner Year for Clueless Rich People Saying Horrible Things on TV

http://www.alternet.org/media/2014-was-banner-year-clueless-rich-people-saying-horrible-things-tv

If 2013 was the year of leaning in, then 2014 has been the year of leaning the fuck out. And if, theoretically, a person were to only watch cable news this past year, he would probably think that America had regressed into something much uglier than previously imagined.

Behold: Here are the most offensive, cloistered, ignorant things said on cable this year.

and by "cable news" they mean Fox News ... and faux Fox News

rapidly on Fox News's domination of fascist, racist, and misogynistic cheerleading towards the end of the year....who can forget Don Lemon's helpful suggestion that a long missing airliner may have fallen into a black hole?

And the entire cast of CNN singing the same song repeatedly for day after day after day, in election campaign season, to the tune of that forgotten one hit wonder "Fearbola Fever"?

Dance, fools, dance!

a relief to have what seemed to be an honest, alternative source for news and information.

How sick this society is, can be seen that when CNN thought they needed to boost their ratings, they thought the way to do that was to become more like Fox.

Then CBS 60 Minutes did the same thing with story after story attacking Obama for one reason or another.

I did not miss an episode for 30 years and now I dont watch it unless it is something very specific that I need to see.

CBS 60 Minutes is who exposed "Curveball", the intel source that proves, BEYOND ANY DOUBT, that the W admin knew 3 weeks prior to invading Iraq that ALL of their intel was a LIE, and they invaded anyway and killed hundreds of thousands of people.
