So good to see Lola having fun, as she should.

Don't know how much longer DU will survive...but, you've been an "interesting and cherished" part of our experience (to those of us Legacy DU'ers) through these tough and tumultuous years. Even the "F-U" outbursts were understood by some of us as the outrage venting we were feeling ourselves.

ENJOY...that lovely little person every moment!

And A Happy Holiday to You and Yours for the Future...even if we never meet again....I wouldn't trade these years here for anything. I've learned so much.

I still brag about meeting Will in person many years ago. There are many DU'ers I've grown to cherish and I suspect they will appear in this thread at some point. So, Happy New Year everyone!

Will, Puddin' Face Lola is a doll and she made me smile. Thanks.

When our son was little, I took him and his sister out for ice cream. He WORE his chocolate cone all over his face, his nose, his hands and forearms, and most of his upper body. Don't know how much he actually ate. Sigh... Looked very much like this photo, except for darker hair. I remember an older couple entering the ice cream store and noticing him (hell, how could you NOT?) and they chuckled - "mmmmm! Somebody's sure enjoying his ice cream!" I smiled and responded something lame about loving the laundry room...

Happy New Year back atcha! And to all of DU, a good night - another 365 of 'em!

Happy New Year to all - not just DUers. Hey, today is our 47th wedding anniversary! Not easy to accomplish. Especially when you get married right out of high school. It takes understanding, true love and compromise.
