Having the Sisters’ Back
For all his faults, I'm glad to see support coming from this unlikely source. That he used the word "attack" is particularly encouraging to me. We need all the allies we can find when it comes to poverty, healthcare, etc AND in making clear that this attack on women is real.
It's a step in the right direction.
If you had a referendum on whom the best faith and moral teachers are in many local communities and parishes around the country, it would likely be the women who are now under attack.
