President Obama's veto pen

I think it would be a good idea if President Obama would go on national media every time he has to veto a Repub bill and explain why and how it hurts average Americans and helps the 1%. Enough of that and maybe people will get a clue before 2016 elections.

1. I think one has to come to the unfortunate conclusion that....

Americans want keystone xl, tax breaks for the wealthy, social security cuts etc...

Not only did the GOP take Congress, but they took over a lot of state governments and/or cemented their majorities.

Maybe Americans are just stupid.

Try as hard as we might.. people are stuck in their philosophical holes..even when they know what they are doing is counter to their own best interests or those of the country.. they would rather vote for the devil.. or not vote at all (same difference) than support someone who had the audacity to be black while President..

It is beyond stupid.. I am past trying to explain to people and showing them hard core facts of an assertion who will shake their head yes, you are right.. and then 15 minutes later repeat the same ludicrous assertion..

They love their politics more than the country..

3. There are more of us then there are of them.

For them to win they have to out vote us. The reason they out vote us is that we fail to vote. I think we need to stop blaming them and look at us.
It has been posted numerous times on this board since November the motives of Dems who didn't vote mainly because our guy was as bad as theirs and we had nothing good to vote for.
