Author J.K. Rowling took to Twitter on Sunday to slam Rupert Murdoch for saying all Muslims "must be held responsible" for extremist violence such as last week's deadly attack on the headquarters of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
Murdoch:
Maybe most Moslems peaceful, but until they recognize and destroy their growing jihadist cancer they must be held responsible.
Rowling:
I was born Christian. If that makes Rupert Murdoch my responsibility, I'll auto-excommunicate.

(2,741 posts)If a group is held responsible for its most evil members, then what should be done about the US Congress and the US Supreme Court? Who should be responsible for the EVIL persons inhabiting these untrustworthy institutions?

(24,288 posts)in DU... that being said.. very well done JK Rowling.. Maybe just maybe.. (I doubt it) but maybe it will get R. Murdoch to thinking about trying to blame everything on a specific group.. that all hates and sins done by those who abuse a specific religion are spread over everyone who adheres to that religion.. sad way to live, but so many seem to need the easy target..
