time to dredge up an old story: Huckabee's son is an animal torturer

So the huckster wants to criticize the Obamas for (gasp) letting their daughters listen to Beyonce? This is a guy who raised a son to torture and kill animals, not to mention illegally try to smuggle a glock on a plane.

Fuck him.

<snip>

(Miller County, Arkansas) Two boy scout counselors, 17 year old Clayton Frady and 18 year old David litickabee [sic], the son of Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, have admitted to catching a stray dog during their summer session at Camp Pioneer in Hatfield, AR, and hanging the dog by his neck, slitting his throat and stoning him to death.

Corrente attributes the strange spelling of David’s last name to the fact that the original information was received by fax, then likely scanned into a word processing program.

The site also disputes David’s attempts to whitewash the killing by explaining that the dog had mange and was emaciated. Apparently the idea of feeding and bathing instead of torturing it were not considered. Possibly this is the reason that in his dismissal camp officials said Boy Scouts are kind, and David Huckabee wasn’t.

Newsweek also detailed how, within months, Gov. Huckabee fired the prosecutor who filed animal cruelty charges against his son.

There's no reason to do this, other than to feed your own outrage appetite.

David Huckabee is probably troubled, but David Huckabee is NOT Mike Huckabee.
And Mike Huckabee will never get anywhere near the White House, so he's irrelevant.

So Mike wants to say something stupid about Obama's kids.
Thems the breaks. Respond to THAT.
Don't drag his stupid kid into it as well.

Stop it.
You're better than this shit.

You just want to be outraged about something and you want to bring other people with you.
Cut it out.
Go have some REAL fun, 'cause this ain't it!

His paymasters cut him checks to say stupid things so that WE argue with each other about it.
He's laughing at us all the way to the bank.

And the irony, is that you are fully aware of this!
Just leave his clearly troubled kid out of it...

aren't a problem for you?

Let's put it this way, he is protecting his son who is obviously extremely disturbed and violent. That kid tortured an animal and should not be allowed to do it again or harm a person, which he undoubtedly will. It should be talked about and condemned forcefully and loudly. Who's to say he won't turn into another Adam Lanza?
