Fox News' Gretchen Carlson: Obama's Jimmy Fallon Appearance Was 'Nutso' (VIDEO)
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/25/fox-news-gretchen-carlson_n_1452379.html
Fox News' Gretchen Carlson came down on President Obama's recent appearance on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" on Wednesday.
Obama appeared on the late night show on Tuesday night. He spoke about his student loans, Mitt Romney and the Secret Service scandal, and arrived to "slow-jam the news" with Fallon.
Carlson was dismayed after watching Fallon call Obama the "Preezy of the United Steezy."
"Right now," she began, "a bunch of former presidents are, like, 'Huh? That's what we do now when we're president of the United States?'"
"When you want the kids," said Doocy, referring to Obama's appeal to young voters.
"I don't care," Carlson returned. "I think it's nutso."

I still remember 20 years ago when Bill Clinton got on MTV and answered questions from the young voters in the audience. I think one of the kids asked if he wore 'Boxers or Briefs' but Bill took that interview very seriously and today it's not uncommon to see presidential candidates of both parties make a stop on MTV to reach out to the young voters. Both McCain and Obama did that in 2008.
I also remember when Bill Clinton was on the Arsenio Hall show and actually played the saxophone for everyone. Again, for him this was an opportunity to reach out to a new audience and help gain supporters.
The thing is this - if a person wants to be elected president (or re-elected) they need to use these new technologies and venues to reach out to voters. The only person who is 'NUTSO' is Gretchen Carlson who thinks being President means your'e some 'out-of-touch-with-the-working-folks' 1% who thinks they are more royalty than someone elected by the people.
When Obama is re-elected the only one looking Nutso will be dingbats like Gretchen Carlson. Probably why Obama will never step foot into a Faux News studio.

After which she spent a quiet afternoon yelling at a cloud and reminiscing about the good old days.

from the stuffed shirts in the media at the time, but it showed that he was a man of the people and didn't take himself too seriously.
Watching Mitt Romney's Letterman "top 10" now. Man, thats almost as uncomfortable as the Letterman appearances of Crispin Glover and Harvey Pekar, lol.

(62,441 posts)7. Considering what FUX calls Obama and what they imply
that is pretty strange she would say anything.
