They decided there was not enough evidence to pursue charges against Darren Wilson for civil rights violation.

It's an extremely difficult standard to convict on.

About getting that nuance wrong... I apologize for that as I hate when I see someone else do it. The ultimate outcome is still just plain morally depressing to me

Very morally depressing.

I believe there is more evidence in the case of Tamir Rice though, so at least there might be justice there.
