I know we all know Fox News is a joke

But this takes the cake.

From Gawker.com

Fox News Host: We Have Saved The Planet With Wars Like Iraq.

If it wasn't for Americans dying around the world, the rest of the world would be in abject poverty.

"We have saved the planet," concluded Payne, "and if we go away as [the world's] policeman, it's going to be hell to pay for everyone."

This is some really out there stuff. People who watch and believe this stuff must have something wrong with their minds. Logic isn't anywhere near these proclamations.

I really don't understand how these people can be called "news" people. Should be something like, Fairy Tales with Fox & Friends

There's a huge Moonie church just a few miles from me. Used to pass it on the way to work. Did just a little research on it but didn't see that. Gotta admit, it's ballsy for a church to use.

remove crosses and other particular iconography from churches so all religions can unite

the post-1980 GOP is dangerous for its hypocrisy as much as for its constant rightward roll: nobody dings Pat Robertson for saying "if it feels good, God wants you to do it" or Santorum for saying Protestants aren't Christian

For saying that! I know lots of things that feel good that he has a problem with. Such an insane asswipe. Well, the dude knows how to make money. No doubt about that.

Interesting on the Moonies. If I ever knew that, I had forgotten. Thank you!

their stories even lend themselves to one of the goofy Fractured Fairy Tale endings- "Oil's Well That Ends Well".
