Are shoulders pornographic?

DailyKos

Gabi Finlayson was excited to attend a dance at Lone Peak High School. The 15-year-old girl and her mom were recently in Paris and they picked out "the perfect dress", one that was reminiscent of iconic fashion idol Audrey Hepburn.
Her happiness soon turned to shame and embarrassment. Shortly after arriving at the school dance, she was approached by school officials who said her dress was too risqué. Why? Her shoulders were showing

for broadcasting "underage porn" when it show the girls JV game? If the school hands out and requires a uniform that shows the shoulders, they can't turn around and pretend to be offended at a dance.

I think the school has its priorities screwed up, really. Utah's very weird.

Very classy, she should be complimented for her good taste.

Those school officials should be removed ASAP. This isn't Saudi Arabia.

I thought it was a lovely dress for a 15-year-old girl at a dance. Light and charming. She said that it was inspired by Audrey Hepburn, and I can see that in it. If there was ever a classier actor than Audrey Hepburn, I don't know who it might be.

I'm glad this was made public. It makes that community look really stupid and repressed.

Can't believe this is really an issue. WtF is going on here? The only way this would make even a teeny tiny bit of sense would be if they had sent explicit dress code regulations and she ignored them.

.......I fully support the right of any school to create and enforce whatever dress code they deem appropriate for kids when they are in school or attending a school function. Their venue, their rules. Don't like the rules? You're free to go elsewhere.

bear arms. Same people called the cops on us to report that we were gay. Then when they found out that was not illegal, they called the cops if we vacuumed at noon 'this is baby nap time' and they did this until the police told them next time they called they would be arrested, which they should have been the second time.
We eventually moved out at a great loss on the lease when they started saying they were going to kill our cat.
